So here is the start of my blog as a professional in the teaching world. As I begin teaching, first as a long-term substitute, and hopefully in the next year as a full time teacher, I want to share my experiences, hear about other's experiences and just share ideas in general.
As a little introduction, I recently graduated from Bowling Green State University with a teaching degree in Spanish. Yep, I want to be that crazy Spanish teacher you all remember from school. I love the language and the diverse culture/history that it comes from. I want to make kids love learning languages - a lofty goal that will, I'm sure, have its bumps along the way. Currently, I am a long-term substitute in a school near Toledo, OH, and I look forward to having my own classroom hopefully next school year.
